The latest ICAO Route Development Group East Special Coordination Meeting (RDMG East Special Coordination Meeting) opened recently in Dushanbe.
Delegations from Uzbekistan, as well as representatives from Central Asian states, the Caucasus, Turkey, Russia, Iran, and Mongolia, are participating. International organizations and companies have also expressed interest in the event, including IATA, Delta Air Lines, Air France, KLM, Finnair, and Jeppesen.
The main objective of the meeting is to develop proposals for optimizing the route network and airspace structure in the Transcaucasus, the interface regions between Central Asia and the Middle East, and the Far East of the ICAO European Region.
The RDMG East Special Coordination Meeting is planning the implementation of new RDMG routes, preparing proposals for improving the route network, and conducting the necessary coordination with states from adjacent ICAO regions.
