The trade union of the State Unitary Enterprise Center "Uzaeronavigatsia" cares about each employee and plays a key role in the life of the team

Large-scale reforms initiated by the head of our state in recent years in all spheres of life, measures to ensure human interests pursue such a great goal and strategic objective as building a New Uzbekistan. In this regard, trade unions, along with other state and public organizations, play an important role in turning the idea of "Man is the highest value" into a national movement, and our Motherland into a country of broad opportunities and great practical deeds.

An important event in this direction was the signing by the President on December 6, 2019 of the new Law "On Trade Unions", which created the basis for raising their activities to a new level in expanding opportunities and powers in the field of protecting the interests of workers and employees. Currently, the country's trade unions unite about 6 million members, directly contributing to ensuring their labor rights and interests. In order to effectively solve these priority tasks, large-scale measures have been implemented in the area over the past 7 years, and activities on socio-economic support for members of work collectives have been raised to a new level. With the participation of the Federation of Trade Unions, four ILO (International Labor Organization) conventions have been ratified. In recent years, international relations have been strengthening in this area.

The Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan became a member of the General Confederation of Trade Unions, agreements were concluded with similar organizations in Central Asian states, and cooperation with the International Labor Organization was raised to a new level. On November 11, 2020, the VIII Kurultai of the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan was held. This forum became an important platform for an in-depth analysis of the activities of trade unions, during which the strategic directions of the Federation of Trade Unions of New Uzbekistan for 2021-2025 were approved. During the Kurultai, a welcoming message from President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to its participants was read, in which a proposal was made to declare November 11 a professional holiday - Trade Union Day of Uzbekistan, in accordance with which the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On the establishment of the Day of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan" was adopted on November 23, 2020.

Trade unions of Uzbekistan carry out a huge work on social support of the population, ensuring human rights and interests, establishing effective public control over compliance with labor legislation, which is the main direction of our activities, as well as developing and improving the forms and methods of this control. It should be noted that in this process, close partnership at the state level gives a good effect. In particular, the General Collective Agreement for 2023-2025 on socio-economic issues was signed between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan and the Confederation of Employers of Uzbekistan, which ensures the implementation of the principle of social partnership for constructive interaction in ensuring the protection of the rights and socio-economic interests of workers and employers, establishing effective cooperation in the steady improvement of the standard of living of the population, maintaining social harmony and stability in society.

It is known that the basis of the trade union organization is its primary organizations. Thanks to the attention paid to strengthening the organizational foundations of the trade union committees of the divisions, activities to protect the legal and socio-economic interests of employees of the State Unitary Enterprise Center "Uzaeronavigation" are intensified. As a result, the trade unions provide social protection for each employee. Primary organizations and trade union committees of the divisions actively participate in the implementation of public control.

Certain work is also carried out in matters of strengthening the health of employees of the enterprise and their family members. In particular, over the past period of 2025, 83 employees were provided with preferential vouchers for health improvement in sanatoriums and rest homes of the Federation of Trade Unions of the country. At the same time, we have made significant progress in the implementation of the program of the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan for 2020-2025, aimed at increasing the effectiveness of spiritual and educational work. To this end, the trade union committees have developed measures to further improve the effectiveness of spiritual and educational work among employees. In accordance with it, working groups of trade union committees of divisions held various events related to the explanation of the essence and content of the Development Strategy of New Uzbekistan.

Today, our country has embarked on the path of development in all spheres. The results achieved in the economy create additional opportunities for the development of the social sphere, which impose great responsibility on us, trade union activists. We, realizing all the responsibility, continue to increase our activity in protecting the rights and interests of workers.

As the head of state Shavkat Mirziyoyev noted: "Today, when our country is entering a decisive stage of its development, and we have defined ensuring human dignity, human rights and interests in all spheres as our main goal, life itself poses great challenges to trade unions, as well as to all our people. I am confident that the country's trade unions, with their rich experience and glorious traditions, will effectively fulfill these tasks and make a worthy contribution to the formation of new labor relations in the New Uzbekistan, the prosperity of our Motherland."
