Representatives of the State Unitary Enterprise "Uzaeronavigation" Centre took part in the eighth ICAO meeting on the implementation of air navigation services

From 19 to 23 May 2025, the eighth meeting of the Air Navigation Services Implementation Support Group (ANSISG/8) was held in Tbilisi, Georgia, organized by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). The meeting was attended by representatives of the State Unitary Enterprise  "Uzaeronavigation" Centre along with delegations from Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Turkey, Uzbekistan, as well as representatives of IATA, Eurocontrol and the ICAO Regional Office.

The ANSISG/8 meeting is a key platform for interaction between states and organizations - air navigation service providers in the region. The business program discussed current issues of coordination between air navigation service providers, the implementation of ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs), as well as the status of the implementation of the modular approach to the modernization of the air navigation infrastructure (ASBU ICAO). The participants exchanged expert opinions on flight safety, analysis and use of the global satellite navigation system GNSS, as well as the application of the principles of cross-border overlap of ground-based radio navigation facilities (Minimum Operation Network).

Particular attention was paid to the issues of responding to crisis situations in the process of organizing and servicing air traffic, which is especially relevant in the context of the increasing complexity of the international aviation environment.

During the meeting, representatives of the State Unitary Enterprise  "Uzaeronavigation" Centre took part in working sessions and discussions aimed at improving air traffic management methods, increasing the sustainability of infrastructure and introducing modern technological solutions in accordance with international requirements.

Uzbekistan's participation in ANSISG/8 underlines the country's commitment to further integration into the global civil aviation system and confirms the desire of the State Unitary Enterprise  "Uzaeronavigation" Centre to ensure a high level of safety, efficiency and reliability of the air navigation services provided.
