On May 15, 2025, the 29th annual General Meeting of the Air Navigation Service Providers Organization (CANSO) was held, which was attended by representatives from more than 80 countries, including a delegation of specialists from the State Unitary Enterprise "Uzaeronavigation"Centre.
During the event, a strategy for the further development of the organization was presented, aimed at increasing the efficiency and sustainability of the global air traffic management system. Particular attention during the meeting was paid to issues of international cooperation and ensuring flight safety in an unstable geopolitical situation.
Participants discussed the challenges faced by air navigation service providers in various regions of the world. Representatives of European, American and Asian ANSPs expressed concern about the impact of global political processes on the stability of the aviation industry. It was noted that disruptions in supply chains, restrictions on air routes and increased risks in a number of regions require coordinated and sustainable solutions.
Following the discussions, it was confirmed that the air navigation sector remains a strategically important element of the global transport infrastructure, while its vulnerability in modern conditions requires strengthening international dialogue, sharing experience and developing joint approaches to ensuring flight continuity and safety.
