In order to study the best international practices in the field of air traffic management and organization, the delegation of the State Unitary Enterprise Center "Uzaeronavigation" visited the DHMI Airspace Management Center in Istanbul.
During the visit, the specialists got acquainted with modern tactical planning solutions, air flow forecasting technologies and post-operational analysis tools. Of particular interest was the TRO (Triple Runway Operation) system - a unique technology that ensures the simultaneous execution of three takeoffs and three landings at one airfield, which significantly increases capacity and improves the efficiency of air traffic.
The delegation also visited the control centers of the Ataturk and Istanbul airports, where, among other things, they studied the operation of the IRADA system, used to control air traffic in critical phases - takeoff and landing. The visit was an important step towards the introduction of modern solutions into the national air navigation system. The knowledge gained and the exchange of experience contribute to the further development of the State Unitary Enterprise Center "Uzaeronavigation" in accordance with international standards.
